Mongolia is on the verge of opening a new national stock exchange. Mongolia’s economy, while small at around $6 billion, will be the world’s fastest growing over the next five years, increasing to $23 billion by 2013. The London Stock Exchange is the front-runner among four contenders to run the new Ulan Bator exchange, so Mongolia will not have to start from scratch. Mongolia stands to benefit from the convergence of three booms: in China, in commodities and in emerging markets.

I didn't know the economy was so small. The article I just read about a coal mine in Mongolia put the IPO of the coal mine at between 10-12 billion dollars. It is going to make a huge impact on their economy.
