Ms. NA, who serves as a member of the Supreme Council of the Grand National Party in Korea, discusses some of the issues the country faces. It is interesting to see how they are struggling with oil prices, an ongoing struggle in the U.S. She is reviewing how to cut the oil taxes. Another intriguing issue was with the general welfare for artists. Ms. Na is interested in helping the lower class and enhancing their rights. She commented that an artist died recently due to financial difficulty. Seeing some of the problems Korea faces helps us to understand who they are.

This article makes me realized how much the world's economies and countries are alike. I never would have thought that an artist's welfare would be a concern anywhere in the world! Learning about other countries problems and concerns makes me recognize similarities between us and want to learn more about their cultures.

And we thought we were the only ones...lets you know how similar all of us are and that we all face the same issues (but small and large).
